Dear modelist friend
Hoping that the storm of December 26 didn't cause you too many damages. Hey,
the n°2 is there and if you read it that is the proof your post-man is not Y2K
bugged. I recall you the goal of 1/4 INFOS: to be a link between QS modelists,
present and future, and to centralize and to make circulate the infos concerning
our hobby.

Clubs that organize some local, friendly or national QS races and want to appear
in the next issue as well as on my Internet site can contact me.
- F1 class: EFRA tires rules are now accepted, dimensions are:
FRONT : Ø mini 143mm, width min: 57mm
REAR: Ø mini: 148mm, width min: 90mm
Old French size (SLD ø170) are always accepted.
- F Group class: the pilots who finish 2 years in succession in the 5 firsts
cannot participate again.
- GT-SALOON class: bodyshells older than 5 years are accepted.
- Foam tires: no more minimum diameter (concern GT & F Group)
The year 99 saw the creation of the " Group F ". This category is reserved to
the non-experts drivers and is accessible with all QS cars and bodyshell. For
first one year, and despite of the lack of information 15 pilots participated
there, it is an excellent beginning. It is really the ideal category to begin
competition in a national championship with a small budget. There is a gentlemen-agreement
that makes non-expert drivers but of good level forbidden themselves to drive
here.
Ladies & gentlemen, take the Porsches 911, Alfa, 905 Spider of the cupboard
and join them!!! Adrien Comtat, the Gr F '99 champ, did confirm his rise in
GT class, who will follow him in the 2000 ranking?
Yes, come to try the CF. It is not absolutely inaccessible: the "good old boys"
are mines of advices, absolutely not avaricious to give a help: it is necessary
to remove them the battery to stop them! Good driving and a good preparation
often prime on the material, as a prove rostrums of S. Robinet at Marmousets
(with a Porsche 911) , of Y. Charroy at Mâcon (2 out of the box chassis), of
F. Rabajotil at Moulins (with his self-made chassis) and the superbs victory
of L. Pradeau at Mâcon and JP. Grellier (another "stock" out of the box car)
at the Coupe at St Savinien. You also will have the opportunity to coast our
Switzerland friends there, already present in 99. Exchange of culture, good
mood and accent are guaranteed. With a nice initiative of our Swiss friend,
Mr Aubort, that made us a video of every race.
In the same way, I wish to thank the clubs that organize us CF events in 2000.
Who said that there is no more of QS car manufacturer? If you want to buy a
complete car contact Mr Rabajotil, and for the maintenance parts Yankee genuine
or compatible see the table below. These modelists, through their societies,
manufacture these parts by passion, contact them! Rumor said another car could
born during 2000 year..
